Have you every wondered why some people seem to resist change?
For me, leadership has always been about learning to navigate through change in a healthy, sustainable and catalytic fashion. When we refuse to grow, we miss out on the potential opportunities and experiences that can create joy, passion and desire inside of us. Call it fuel or zest for life.
I get it, sometimes the change that happens (or is happening) can seem overwhelming...creating more of a sense of fear than of hope in the midst of the "chaos." But without change there is no future. And without a future there is no hope.
A leader needs to be aware of his or her natural posture towards change - are you someone who initially resists or someone who readily embraces? Change for the sake of change doesn't create momentum, but change laced with intentionality and direction creates not only a way forward, but also a platform and opportunity to shape today's present and tomorrow's future while allowing others to see their own way forward.
Don't be a resistor, be a change agent. #betterleadership
